The earlier you apply the better placement chances you will have.

Below you will find a description of the selection process. The Au Pair must provide the following paperwork and forward them to INTERAUPAIR as soon as possible.

 

1. Read the conditions of the Au Pair program.

2. Submit all the necessary documents:

   • Fill out the Au Pair Application Form and attach 1 passport photo

   • Attach 4-5 photos: family photos, photos with children in a blank sheet

   • Attach a "Dear family" letter in Spanish (attached see sample and template), stating why you want to go to Spain, your hobbies, childcare experience, if you have a special diet, etc

   • Attach 2 or 3 childcare references (traduced in English) of previous childcare jobs (babysitting, schools, etc)

   • Attach a Medical Report and proof of medical insurance

   • Attach a Criminal Background Check

3. Contact us by phone or e-mail to schedule an interview.

4. Once we receive all the documents, INTERAUPAIR will send family profiles that matches with the Au Pairs requirement and the Au Pair will have to confirm in which families she is interested.

5. Interaupair will arrange conversations between both parts.

6. If both parts are interested after these conversations, INTERAUPAIR will send the contract to be filled in and signed by both parts. These contracts includes the rights and responsabilities of family and Au Pair.

7. The Au Pair will start looking for a flight, and will have to inform the family and INTERAUPAIR of her arrival date with enough time for the family to schedule a pick up at the airport.

8. INTERAUPAIR will arrange Au Pair meetings and forward the AU PAIR KIT with important information about coexistence with family and children activities.
